These candles represent a project of peace between Israeli and Palestinian women. The hurricane candles are crafted by Israeli women living near Nazareth, and are made with olive leaves and flowers from the region. Each candle comes with an embroidered bag handstitched by Palestinian women living in Bethlehem. These great bags, made from muslin, hold a small tea candle that fits within the larger hurricane candle. Candles are available in both white and peach, and are lightly fragranced with hints of vanilla and orange.
